I’d like to light a dozen candles and pray for those Greeks who aren’t enjoying Christmas today. Contrary to conventional wisdom, I see an amazing renaissance converging around Greece. 2013 is the end of the waterboarding of Greece…!

When I think seriously about the corruption that plagues our civic institutions, I can’t help but focus on those who have immunity to operate above the law, and those who are rewarded just enough to look the other way. Consequently, psychopathy becomes the default moral ideal for the young aspiring to be “successful.” Does this apply only to Greece? Of course it doesn’t. Currently, the revelations regarding Greece’s corruption are providing the world with another universal mirror to reflect on.
Is there a link between Canada’s merchants of fraud and the Gods of Greektown? http://lnkd.in/pzQc99 http://godsofgreektown.com
U.S. Per Person Debt is 35% Higher than Greece. What does that mean?
It means the non-productive ruling elite of one country is superior at predatory parasitism. I don’t know whether Greece is an example, an experiement, or a scapegoat, but I’m becoming more conscious that Greeks didn’t develop their brand of corruption in a vacuum. Their best, and brightest traveled abroad and learn parasitism at the top universities in the world. It’s clear, isn’t it? Some countries have dumbed down their populace better than others. Ivory Towers and parasitism have been best friends since the beginning of time.
Have you heard about OPA! Magazine? Based in Australia, it’s a monthly magazine dedicated entirely to Greek arts and culture. They happen to have an article about me and Gods of Greektown in the July edition.
Greek culture has sparked many Black Swan-Huckleberry Finns throughout human history. These are the outlier anomalies that unsettle conventional wisdom. Modern science, art, technology and the many renaissances would not exist without Greece. The Flash Crash of May 6, 2010 is a great example of this. After this day, no one could help but feel that the stock market was a rigged financial casino, and that the sanctity of our institutions is dangerously fragile. The spirit of Prometheus has never been stronger.
There are those who call themselves Greeks who are, in actuality, frauds. It truly pains me to witness this hyperinflation of counterfeit egos: those who express an empty patriotism for Greece without nurturing a Hellenic conscience. This Hellenic state of mind is the result of a continuous development of reason; it is a set of genuine virtues; it is learning whatever one can in order to earn Western Civilization’s gold standard.
